The work I did for Dead Space was very dark and realistic compared to the art on The Simpsons Game, and the processes were very different as well. To work on both of these projects within a period of six months after graduating was a challenge. Having to switch up styles in a professional environment was daunting but at same time very rewarding, and it taught me that switching things up style wise can be really good for refreshing the art-brain.
My time at Kabam was a time of growth and learning. It was here that I went from concept artist to eventually an Art Lead, so my years there provided me with a lot of experience. Aside from the experience the variety of projects was awesome, even if not all of them made it to the light of day.
This is an ongoing personal project where I redesign ww2 era aircraft as 1950/1960’s era jets, and modern jets as ww2 propeller driven aircraft. I started these in 2019 and was really cranking them out and posting them on Instagram and this led me to a small community of artists with similar interests, which was great.
A collection of digital Aviation Art, some taken to a finish state and others left as sketches. These mainly focus on historically accurate military aircraft, a passion of mine since childhood and hopefully I can get to some of the sketches and polish them up….but it’s hard to find the time with kids :)
This is a compilation of other personal work that’s been more polished up, showcasing a little bit of everything. There are some vehicles, Transformers, little league logos, all fun stuff!
The art here is a collection of a lot of sketchbook stuff and a few digital pieces. This is the stuff that I've enjoyed drawing since I was a kid like Transformers, airplanes, tanks, and Tie Fighters. I find drawing these things can really help refresh my brain if I’ve been heads down at work for too long, allowing me to view things at work with a fresh set of eyes.
